is this or is this NOT a PUBLIC web site ?... i have never hear or seen site rules prohibiting the first amendment ... anyone remember what that is ? If you would like to know what the content was you can e-mail me and I'll send you a copy ... but hurry before this gets pulled too ... or I get banned, which ever comes first, LOL

We all have the right to know what we can say and what we can't--When a member asks why someone has been banned it seems in the best interest of the club members to know what is really going on!!! Members have been banned in the past and this was public information, so what has changed?

I have been using forums and public sites for a long time and I think this place falls under the same situation as most others. This is a privately owned and maintained site. It is readable by the public, and it allows the public to post with a minimal registration requirement. Still it is owned/maintained privately. So there is no obligation to maintain any statements by anyone. They can pick and choose the content they want to show.

It is just the way it is.

As far as I am concerned forums are like television stations. Don't like the content? Change the channel. As it happens, I like the content here.

This post was not meant to inflame or otherwise attack anyone. Just putting my two cents in on how these things work.

We are the members of this site and we are only asking for a simple answer to a simple question!! You are right about changing channels however!!!

no offense taken,... privately owned/maintained ? that's a good one ...

must be a "right to know, need to know" kinda thing,...it's not right and they know it, so we don't need to know why!!! hard to believe we're still in the united states huh ?
