Thank you it makes it a lot easier to deal with probs when you can get along at the same time.

But unfortantly I wan;t the Cobra fixed locally... To tell you the truth after we have had talks about my frustration with the car breaking down after leaving the shop x amount of times, I am scared to bring it back there to be worked on and also I have other things in my life going on and I dont want to rely on asking for people to give me rides to the shop. The shop is an hour away from here and I am limited on my resources and I dont need the stress. Plus my AAA only covers 5 miles. I will have a local shop here fix the prob since my AAA will cover it and I wont need to rely on other peoples help.

I have talked with my contact at Ford and he has recommended me to 2 shops that have certified ASE master mechs that work there. I have already talked to one of them and was quoted $1000 for repairs. So to make things fair that would be split int he middle of $500 each. I think that is extremely fair under the circumstances.

I am sorry Mike but I cant say anything about the tunning there.. its awsome but other then that I have had it, scratched up polished pieces I paid to have done, scuffs in the pain... but who knows how they got there, and taking the car back and forth is just to much now. I want a local shop so if I feel the need to stop by and check things out I can do it without it being out of the way.

Same goes with the body shop. There are a couple in town I want to take the car to and one gives club members a discount and i would tell them to apply it to the car.. You dont even have to deal direct with me, you can deal with the shop.

So what they are doing is backing out of the agreement we had when the car went in the first time, which was a sponsorship, half off labor and cost on parts.. so his way at getting back at me so he didnt have to pay was he went back and charged me full price on labor and full price on the cost of the parts..... Tacky and shady.. I will bever take my car there again and tell everyone I know what happened to me and not to take the car back to the and I do plan on calling BAR once the cobra is repaired... who the fuck is he to say he wont pay to have my car fixed if it costs X amount of $$....
